How It Works

Prepare for the vocabulary portion of the SAT with the only mobile delivered audio and text program that uses music to make the learning both easy and fun.

SAT Remix™ is not only inexpensive, mobile and effective – it is extremely easy:

  1. Choose a subscription plan.
  2. Every day receive a text message with the audio link to the SAT Remix daily vocabulary lesson.
  3. Read the word and click on the audio link. (If you don’t have a data phone you simply click on the phone number and dial up to hear the same lesson!)
  4. Listen to the word, definition, and two contextual sentences all with backbeat music.
  5. Save that lesson (word) in your ringtones to listen anytime anywhere or save the text message to click on the lesson link or phone number to review whenever you like.
  6. Take the SAT test, receive a high score, get into the college you want, and become rich and famous.**

    Sample lessons:
    Lugubrious
    Querulous

Why?
(What is it with you and always asking “Why?”)

Because a strong vocabulary won’t just make you sound smart. It can increase your SAT score significantly (by as many as 150 points) and that IS smart. And using SAT Remix is mega smart because it’s a great program that combines music with the lessons so you’re more likely to remember the words.

You’re much more likely to remember the vocabulary through using SAT Remix than through trying to cram words in by reading off lists or relying on flashcards. You can even learn with your eyes closed. How cool is that? (Very cool)

When 33% of your test depends on a strong vocabulary, it just makes sense to build that vocabulary. It helps not just with the questions that test vocabulary specifically, but with the reading comprehension portions, too.

Nearly every college in America accepts the SAT as a part of its admissions process. That's why more than two million students take the SAT every year. And that’s why you’re going to take it. So if you’re going to all that trouble, what’s another minute a day of your time to get the score you need to be competitive. And that’s about the length of the lesson. 1 minute. You can spare a minute a day for learning new vocabulary so you get into a good college, get your education, and don’t end up as a leaf blower* because you didn’t know what chicanery meant.

SAT Remix selected the 300+ most missed words on the SAT with the assistance of professional SAT tutors and educators. I know. We’re so cool.

We not only are teaching the words you will face on the SAT, we are teaching the ones you are most likely to miss. Our program is focused to be sure that you get the most out of SAT Remix.

And remember, it’s the only mobile program that sends you a lesson each day. You don’t have to be bothered remembering to study. We nag you about it.

You also don’t have to sit on the couch upside down with your feet hanging off the arm and a bag of chips in your lap. But you can if you like. Or you can quick listen as you grind your trucks on a 50-50.  Or between band practice and debate club. Basically, it’s a minute of your time and it’s on your mobile. Listen and learn pretty much anywhere and anytime you want.

Finally, research has shown that people remember more effectively when they have auditory cues. Who are we to argue with research?
